This book not only tells you everything you should do, but tells you what pitfalls to look out for. As well as suggesting how you should pitch for work it also offers some serious business sense as well. It is excellent.

Hi guys.
I have a question that may seem weird, but anyway. When I'm looking at the pictures inside photoshop or lightroom the pictures look great. Vivid colors, good contrast, sharp, etc. But when I preview a picture outside one of those programs the pictures aren't vivid anymore. Like when I preview it on the browser or inside Preview (Mac).
What can I do to see the same results on both sides?
I'm also posting a picture. Please make your comments. Thanks.

I can't see your example as I'm not a Yahoo member, but the usual reason for dull, flat images on the web is the wrong profile.

Files generally need to be sRGB to look their best on the web.

Chris.

Colours look ok to me. Colour spaces can very depending on what you view them in and where they are located. Also take into account your monitor profile and room lighting conditions.
